Located on Karuna Pride, Falnir Rd, Attavar, this cozy spot serves up a perfect blend of flavors from across Asia, offering everything from rich curries to sizzling stir-fries. The vibe here is casual and inviting, making it ideal for both intimate dinners and casual hangouts with friends.

One of the first things that stand out about The Asian Patio is its diverse menu. Whether you're a fan of spicy Thai food, comforting Chinese noodles, or the aromatic spices of Indian cuisine, there’s something here to please every palate. For starters, the crispy spring rolls are a popular choice among regulars. Filled with a mix of fresh vegetables and served with a tangy dipping sauce, they’re a great way to kick off your meal.

But it’s the main dishes that really shine. The Thai Green Curry, for instance, is an absolute favorite. The perfect balance of spicy, creamy, and savory flavors makes it a must-try. If you’re in the mood for something heartier, the classic Pad Thai, with its tender noodles and crunchy peanuts, never disappoints. And for seafood lovers, the Crab Meat Fried Rice is an exceptional option, brimming with fresh seafood and a flavorful mix of spices.

The Asian Patio also doesn’t shy away from offering some authentic Indian-inspired dishes that blend perfectly with the Asian theme. The Chicken Tikka, for example, brings a smoky, charred flavor that pairs wonderfully with the fragrant basmati rice or warm naan. It’s clear that the restaurant takes great care in sourcing its ingredients, as everything tastes fresh and is prepared with precision.

When it comes to the ambiance, The Asian Patio doesn’t fall short either. The restaurant's simple yet elegant décor adds to its charm. The warm lighting and cozy seating arrangements make it a comfortable environment for any occasion, whether it’s a romantic dinner or a fun group outing. While the food and ambiance are top-notch, what really makes this place stand out is the attention to detail. From the perfectly plated dishes to the careful selection of spices and herbs, there’s a lot of love and effort that goes into each meal. You can tell that the chefs at The Asian Patio are passionate about what they do, and that passion shines through in every dish.

For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert options are a treat as well. The classic Coconut Pudding, with its smooth texture and mild sweetness, makes for a perfect ending to a flavorful meal. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, the Mango Sticky Rice is a delightful fusion of sweetness and tang, featuring sticky rice topped with ripe mango slices.

The restaurant is easily accessible for both locals and visitors, making it a great option for anyone in the Mangaluru area. • Asian Patio is easily one of Mangalore’s top picks for Asian cuisine From the moment you walk in, the elegant and calming ambience sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. We tried a variety of dishes — the Teriyaki Chicken was perfectly glazed and flavourful, the Dynamite Prawns had just the right kick, and the Crispy Prawns Bao,The DimSums and Sushi were fresh, light, and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed their mocktail, which was super refreshing, and the KitKat Shake & Ferrero Milkshake — both rich and indulgent For dessert, the Nutella Pull me up was absolutely drool-worthy, and the Mango Cheesecake didn’t just look stunning — it tasted divine too! The service was warm and attentive throughout, and there’s ample parking space available, which makes the visit all the more convenient. If you’re looking for a spot that nails both flavour and aesthetics, Asian Patio is a must-visit

  • Visited Asian Patio in Falnir over the weekend. The place has a fancy and warm ambience, although it’s quite compact despite looking spacious in photos. It tends to get a bit crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly. We tried the Chicken Manchow soup, a chicken starter (name I can’t recall), Prawn Tempura Sushi, and the Chicken Herb Bao. Most dishes were decent, but the sushi was a bit too dry for my liking. The standout was definitely the Chicken Herb Bao — soft, flavourful, and worth going back for. Service could be improved — the staff wasn’t very attentive, and we had to ask multiple times just to get water. Overall, an okay dining experience with room for improvement, but I’d return just for that bao!

  • From the moment we walked in, what stood out the most was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly humble, warm, and patient. We had quite a few doubts about the dishes, and not once did they make us feel awkward or uninformed. Instead, they took time to explain everything beautifully and suggested dishes with such confidence—and honestly, every recommendation turned out to be spot on. We ended up trying most of what they suggested, and it was absolutely worth it. The Shoyu Ramen Bowl was comforting and soulful, with a perfectly balanced broth that felt both light and deeply flavorful. The Japanese Historical Chicken Sushi was delicate, well-crafted, and had that authentic touch that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. The Spicy Chicken Cheungfan Dimsums were a pleasant surprise—soft, silky, with just the right amount of spice to keep things exciting. And the Chicken Yakitori was simple yet packed with flavor, grilled perfectly and incredibly satisfying. Overall, this wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience made special by thoughtful service, genuine hospitality, and food that clearly reflects care and passion. We walked out feeling happy, satisfied, and already planning a return visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Asian cuisine served with warmth and sincerity.

  • If you are looking for authentic Asian flavors in Mangalore, The Asian Patio is the place to be! We tried a variety of ramen bowls, including the Korean, Laksa, Char Siu, and Tofu Ramen. Each broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Vegetarian Bao was also a highlight - super soft and delicious. While the prices are on the higher side, they are completely justified by the premium food quality and the elegant, calming ambience. 10/10 would recommend!

  • We tried vegetarian food at this place. Truffle Scented Uramakhi, Yum Cha Dimsum, and the Tofu Ramen Bowl were really good. The ramen was a bit on the spicier side, but the rainy day made it perfect. The Yum Cha was super cheesy, and I never thought I would ever love sushi, but this was good. The staff were quick, but they had an extremely cold and arrogant attitude, and that kinda made us uncomfortable

  • The service and ambience were excellent. Tried a few Korean dishes, Sushi, and Ramen. The Ramen was really good, especially the spicy flavour. I’m not sure how Sushi usually tastes, but I personally didn’t like it—still managed to finish it somehow. The Nutella dessert tasted great, and the Watermelon Twist was top-notch, though the quantity felt a bit less. Overall, the prices seemed on the higher side.
